Well, the one week estimate was a little off. It took a month.
But on the last day of 2006, our doors were open and the place looks great. We wrestled with the physical demands of painting, cleaning, toting, etc.; and with the emotional demands of meshing the expectations of six entrepreneurial artists.
A champagne toast at the beginning of our first day open sealed the bargain.
Let the sales begin!

The artists are: Lainie Davia, Fran Decker, Leslie Kanter,Judi Bradford, Janis Childs and Maritza Cresce.
So glad that I ran into you Leslie. The new studio is absolutely beautiful! You all worked very hard & hope that it's paying off. I look forward to meeting the rest of the gang as I really appreciate art & artists. See you soon.

The fabulous 1100 SoDu Gallery's grand opening party is scheduled for Wed. Feb. 21, 2007, 6-10 PM.
